Science Week (Monday 3rd November – Friday 7th November 2025)
Year 3 have had a fantastic time during Science Week. Our focus was on the component of learning Light, and the children enjoyed exploring how shadows are formed and how light reflects off different surfaces.
We were also very lucky to be joined by some Year 12 students from George Spencer Academy, who led exciting practical sessions with our classes. 3B investigated the properties of magnets, while 3C explored chemical reactions by creating their very own mini volcanoes.
It was a brilliant week full of curiosity, discovery, and lots of hands-on learning!
