History
This week, we focused on Queen Elizabeth II. We explored photographs from different stages of her life and discussed her important role as monarch. We also reflected on how Queen Elizabeth II is within our living memory, as we were all born during her reign.
We enjoyed sharing the story Little People, Big Dreams: Queen Elizabeth II and learning more about the life of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch. To finish our learning, we wrote down our favourite facts about Queen Elizabeth II and worked together to create a group poster.
We were especially fascinated to learn that during World War II, she helped to drive and repair ambulance vans!
