Year 2

We started the week with a fantastic visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park! We had an amazing time seeing lots of incredible animals, including several that link to our Kenya topic. Our teachers were extremely impressed with our excellent behaviour throughout the day.

Later in the week, we continued our learning about Kenya and the Maasai Mara. We created beautiful necklaces inspired by the traditional beadwork of the Maasai people, using colours that have special meanings. We included lots of red, which symbolises strength, and enjoyed learning about the importance of beads in Maasai culture.
