This week in English, we have been focusing on writing in the past tense. Last week, we received a very exciting delivery: a postcard from Miss Ullah’s trip to the zoo! We read her postcard and discussed the features of a postcard.
This week, we used our senses to imagine our own trip to the zoo. We thought about what we could see and hear, what we ate, and how we felt. We used this planning to write a reply to Miss Ullah. She will receive our postcards next week and is looking forward to reading our writing.
