This week in Foundation, we have been reading ‘Not a Box’ by Antoinette Portis . It is a story about a bunny who uses their imagination to turn a box into many uses.
We have enjoyed exploring big boxes and using them to tell our own stories. We have made planes, trains and cars! We have worked together to share resources and tell stories.
During Explore and Learn time we have investigated the box modelling area. We have been learning to think about what we might want to make, which boxes and tubes we may need and how to attach them together.
We have made crocodiles, rockets and squids! We still need boxes and tubes so we can carry on making our fantastic creations so please continue sending in throughout the year.
