We had a fantastic start to the week taking part in our first sports day at BHPS. We enjoyed lots of activities including a potato and spoon race and a sack race. Our parents came to watch and cheer us on. Some of them even took part in their own parent race and we cheered for them all.
As part of our learning about real superheroes, we had a visit from the Fire Brigade on Tuesday. They showed us their uniform and Mrs Cox dressed up as a firefighter. They taught us all about ringing 999 in an emergency and the importance of knowing our own address. We practised drop and roll and had a turn at using the hose with one of the firefighters. It was very powerful!
