We are the Diamond class and the Sapphires class.
This week we have started to read ‘The Dot’ by Peter Reynolds, all about how a dot can be a starting point for something wonderful and can turn into beautiful art. We have explored making dots using paint, pastels and crayons. The children enjoyed printing with different objects to create dots.
We investigated Kandinsky inspired art and learnt about a Japanese artist called Yayoi Kasuma who uses dots in her art work.
