This week in Year 4…
In English this past week, we wrote setting descriptions of some of the most prominent locations in Jotun, a Viking tale. We included various types of figurative language including, personification, similes and metaphors, expanded noun phrases and double fronted adverbials.
Next week, we will be performing ‘The Wizard of Oz’ to the school on Monday and to parents on Wednesday. We are looking forward to showcasing our fantastic acting and singing skills to audiences.
In our History lessons, continued our focus on the Vikings and looked into detail at how and why the Viking longships were so advanced for their time.
In Maths we continued to investigate different types of fractions, while in Computing we learnt about cloning images in our creative media lessons.
