This week in Year 4…
Hot! Hot! Hot!
We have had to adapt to the sweltering conditions this week by completing lots of work outside in the shade. We learnt about why it is important to stay hydrated and the need for suncream and wearing a hat.
In Geography, we investigated where in the world water is prevalent and where it isn’t. We were thankful we are living in a country where obtaining water isn’t a problem.
In Maths, we have focused on statistics, interpreting line graphs and understanding tables and what they tell us.
In English, we started a new focus on river safety and have learnt about why rivers can be dangerous, how to stay safe and what to do in an emergency situation.
Here’s hoping for a cooler week next week!
