Year 1 Art
In Art, Year 1 have been developing their craft skills and exploring a range of techniques using different materials. Over the past few weeks, the children have learned how to wrap with wool, tie knots and plait carefully.
This week, the children were introduced to weaving using paper. They practised weaving by going in and out of the paper strips, developing their fine motor skills, concentration, and perseverance. The children worked incredibly hard and showed great focus as they carefully created their woven patterns.
