Tag Rugby - Thursday 10th October 2019 - 13 children represented BHPS at this years Tag Rugby Competition at Nottingham Casuals Rugby Club. Everyone played superbly, working together as a team. We reached the final where we beat Gilthill. This meant we were through to the County Finals on 7th November at Mansfield Rugby Club. 

Year 1 Balance Festival - Friday 11th October 2019 - 

Year 4 Megafest Rugby - Tuesday 15th October 2019 - 

Physical Activity Celebration Event -  14 Year 3 children attended this event on Wednesday 13th November at Chilwell Olympia. they took part in activities including drumming, badminton, jumping, rowing, stacking, balancing and even some dancing.

It was brilliant to see so many smiling faces, especially from those who had never ventured to the leisure centre before; and we hope that many will continue to build a love of physical activity.

Boccia - Thursday 14th November at The Bramcote College -  8 children from Years 3-6 took part in the Boccia event in teams of three. We played some matches against two other local schools and learnt some new skills. Well dome to Marcus for his 'Respect' certificate and to Kieran  for his 'Passion' certificate. 

Dodgeball - Thursday 7th November at Alderman White School - 16 children from Year 5 took part in the competition.  One of our players was awarded the Spirit of the Games award for Passion. Well done Isabelle!

Inclusive Games - Wednesday 29th January at Kimberley School/Leisure Centre. 7 children attended this event and had a great afternoon. Activities included a visit to the vibe gym, boccia, curling/skittles and mini games in the gym.

Indoor Rowing - Thursday 6th February at George Spencer Academy.  8 children (1 boy and 1 girl from Years 3,4,5 and 6) took part in this event. We competed against 16 other teams and finished in 3rd place rowing a total of 4528m. Year 3/4 children had to row for 3 minutes and Years 5/6 had to row for 5 minutes. There was a team event, rowing for a total of 8 minutes. We had a great afternoon and were proud of our achievements. It was Neve's and Lucas last time rowing for us! Well done to Neve for her Spirit of the Games certificate for Passion. 

Swimming Gala - Tuesday 25th February at Bramcote Leisure Centre.

Orienteering (Year 4) -  30 children had the opportunity to take part in this new event organised by a member of the British Orienteering Team and Bramcote College sports leaders.
