In the event of bad weather or an unexpected emergency the decision will be made to fully or partially close the school in the interests of the children’s safety and welfare. This decision will not be made lightly and as a last resort to avoid unnecessary disruption to parents. In the event of a full or partial closure, the details will be uploaded to our website, Twitter account and will be sent to parents using our text messaging service. Details will be put on the Nottinghamshire County Council website in the school closures section and local radio stations will be informed (Capital FM, Radio Nottingham and Gem 106). This decision will be relayed to parents as soon as is possible and return arrangements to the normal school working day will be made clear to parents as early as possible.
